Do Better
Live louder. Love louder.
I don’t really know where to start. I just know I’m tired of feeling like I’m not loud enough. Like I don’t say what’s on my mind enough. So I made a decision—to be louder. To love a little more. To Do Better.
I had a neighbor who always waved hello. We weren’t close, but I admired him. He lifted people up—helped kids, took them on hikes, played catch when they didn’t have anyone else. He was loud with his kindness. And I regret not being louder about wanting to know him. Because when he was gone, I realized:
You never know what could have been if you don’t take the first step.
That realization hit hard. So I made a decision. Every single day, I would make it a point to reach out and lift someone up. No overthinking, no excuses—just action. And to keep myself accountable, I created something new:
The Deck of Do Better.
Every day, I pull a card and do what it says. No matter the weather. No matter how I feel. I take action. Because I don’t just want to think about doing better—I want to live it. And if one person, just one, is affected by these tiny ripples of love, then I’ve done my job.
What I’m realizing is this: I gotta wanna be louder every single day. Love louder. Live louder. Lift people up louder. Because if I don’t, who will?
All I have to do is Do Better.
